Some must-do's:

The Malta Experience

https://themaltaexperience.com/

A fantastic overview of the history and culture of Malta. It gives you a very informative insight via a cinema experience. Great place to start if you want to learn a little about where you are.

Mdina

A fortified city in the middle of the island which used to be the ancient capital.

Lots of gorgeous alleyways, shops and cafes. One great cafe in particular is Fontanella (one of our favourites!)

Marsaxlokk

Colourful fishing village in the south. Excellent seafood restaurants and cute market.

Fort St. Angelo

Adorning the Grand Harbour in the city of Birgu, this splendid fort is credited as being the most noteworthy in Maltese History used by the Knights of St. John as a stronghold against the Ottomans.

Għajn Tuffieħa / Golden Bay

A beautiful part of the island in the north with some lovely sandy beaches and coastal walks.

Free Walking Tours in Valletta

Do a free walking tour of Valletta. There are a number of companies that offer this, so have a look around. These tours are free and you just pay a donation at the end. A great way to get your bearings in the capital and learn something!
